Ryan Davis, Born and Raised on Cape Cod, MA… by the beach

Creativity has been the one constant throughout my life. From a young age, I dreamed of creating surf edits, clothing brands, and marketing campaigns for the products I loved. In high school, I envisioned the day I would graduate and travel the world. I saved up throughout my teenage years, and just four days after graduation, I was on a flight to Costa Rica. From there, I traveled to Indonesia, Europe, and back to Central America, gathering stories and unforgettable experiences along the way.

After exploring the world, I decided it was time to pursue an education aligned with my passion—marketing. What intrigues me most about marketing is its blend of creativity and strategy, allowing me to promote products and businesses in meaningful ways. Wanting to apply my skills firsthand, I launched a side hustle: RD Screen Printing, where I used eco-friendly ink to create prints for clients. During this time, I saw an opportunity to bring my ideas to life, combining surf culture, imagination, and the designs from my notebook. This led to Sandspit, a small clothing brand originally made for my friends and me. I had no intention of growing it, but soon, friends of friends—and eventually stores—began requesting it.
